"Love is the greatest gift when given.
It is the highest honour when received"
Clare and Ben were married at the fantastic Audleys Wood Hotel, in Basingstoke.
Ben and Clare were both getting ready at the hotel on the morning of their wedding, so some careful planning was needed, in order to keep the soon-to-be-married-couple apart from one another. This was especially true when Dan, from DM Photography, decided to hang Clare's wedding dress from the chandelier at the top of the main staircase! Cue bridesmaids on guard, to prevent to groom walking by at the wrong moment! Eek!
The morning flew by, and before we knew it, Clare was walking down the aisle to marry Ben, accomanied by her balloon-bearing flowergirls. The wedding ceremony itself was held in such a beautifully light room and, after the couple had their first kiss, we we all headed outside into the pretty gardens for the drinks reception.
The marquee looked as pretty as ever, and was home to Clare and Ben's guests for the wedding breakfast, the speeches and the newlyweds first dance. A special mention has to go to Ben's sister, who did the most amazing job of introducing the speeches and telling little stories about her brother as she went along. I don't think I have ever seen a sister as proud of her brother as she was on this day.
It was a wonderfully happy day, with a lot of fun had by all!
Here are a small selection of photographs from their very special day..
