"LOVE ME AND THE WORLD IS MINE"
The 22nd May 2015, saw the sun rise on the day that Colette and James were married.
This was one wedding I had been looking forward to for aaages, having already had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Colette's sister, Emily, back in August last year.
Louise, (Buttons Photography), and I had an absolutely fabulous time with this family last year, and I couldn't wait to see how they were all getting on.
On this occasion I was second shooting for Dan from DM Photography, so on the morning of the wedding, Dan dropped me off with the ladies, while he headed off to spend the morning with James and his Ushers. The house and gardens were once again looking lovely, as I headed upstairs to meet with Colette and her bridesmaids. It was a hive of activity from the moment I arrived, with people popping in and out, champage to be drunk and sentimental gifts to be opened.
The morning flew by, and before we knew it, everyone was ready for the big event.
Colette and James were married in a traditional ceremony at a beautiful local church, before James was handed the keys of the much loved, vintage Jaguar, to drive his new wife back to their reception at the family home in Fleet.
A perfectly timed break in the clouds allowed for a drinks reception in the garden, before everyone headed into the marquee for the wedding breakfast, a set of hilarious speeches and the all important cutting of the cake. A quick turnaround of the marquee and the dancing began!
Here are a selection of images from their day..
